Apple released iOS 27.2 on 26 October. Siri's AI features can now remember earlier conversations, so you can ask about something it suggested before. They can also draw on more of your own information, such as photos sent in Messages, people invited to Calendar events, voicemails and your Safari history.

Siri AI now works in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish as well as English, with more languages promised by the end of the year. A new "Excluded Apps" setting lets you choose, in one place, which apps Siri and suggestions can look into.

The catch for Europeans: Siri AI is still not available in the EU. Apple first delayed it in June, pointing to the Digital Markets Act, and says it is working with the EU to find a way forward. The features also need an iPhone 15 Pro or newer.

Why it matters to you: If you live in the EU you won't see these features yet. If you travel or live outside the EU, check the new Excluded Apps setting before you let Siri read more of your data.
